Light Types
Null
Emits no light at all. You can quickly switch off a light by changing
it type to Null. You can also use Null lights
to create glowing points.

Emits light in all directions. In the real-world, light bulbs or candle
lights act much as Point Lights.

Spot
Emits a cone of light. Spot lights
are the most heavily used type of lights in computer graphics because
they offer a great level of control.

Emits light in one direction only. They are used to mimic infinitely distant
point lights like the sun. Most of the time they are used as the main
key light in outdoor scenes.

Emits no light at all. Allows to precisely position texture maps in ShaderMaker
using the meta-phore of the slide-projector.

Ambient
Emits light in no precise direction everywhere in the scene. It is not
really a light. It acts more like a global lighting offset. The ambient
light can be found in the Render Setup
dialog box.
