X axis [z]
Turns the x-axis on or off. Objects can only be transformed along axes
that are "on" (their buttons are pushed in). Works in conjunction with
the control tools to constrain movement.

Click X Axis in the Constraints palette.
Y axis [x]
Turns the y-axis on or off. Objects can only be transformed along axes
that are "on" (their buttons are pushed in). Works in conjunction with
the control tools to constrain movement.
1. Click Y Axis in the Constraints palette.
Z axis [c]
Turns the z-axis on or off. Objects can only be transformed along axes
that are "on" (their buttons are pushed in). Works in conjunction with
the control tools to constrain movement.
