About
this Manual
This
manual explains everything you need to know to use PiXELS3D. If you are
new to 3D, it is highly recommended that you read the 3D Basics
chapter in the Self Training Workbook before beginning to learn the software.
In addition, we assume that you are familiar with the use of the mouse,
as well as the Macintosh interface, icons and pull down menus. Basic skills
common to all Macintosh applications like clicking, dragging, scrolling
and opening files are not explained within these pages, but are covered
in detail in the manuals that came with your computer.
This manual is broken into five sections: Views, Menus, ShaderMaker, Tools
and Constraints. Each section contains a list of all tools and features
with step-by-step instructions for performing their related functions.
A Glossary at the back of the manual provides definitions to terminology
used in this guide.
