Addendum 3.5

PiXELS3D now shows your document in a document window. If you want to use the version 3.2 style full-screen display, choose the Window>Full Screen menu item. If you want PiXELS3D to start up in full-screen mode, open the "Preferences" file, search for "fullscreen off", change it to "fullscreen on", and save the file. The next time you start PiXELS3D, it will be in full-screen mode. In either case you can resize the document window by dragging the bottom-right corner of the window.

If you want PiXELS3D to have the same configuration the next time you start it up, you can do that by creating a new default project. The default project can include your favorite shaders in the Shader Manager, preset lights, camera settings, rendering parameters, window positions, sizes, and states (open or closed), and anything else that is saved as part of a project file. To create a new default project, startup PiXELS3D, set it up the way you want it, and save the project to "PiXELS3D Studio 3.5:Projects:Default:pxl:default.pxl". The next time you start PiXELS3D, the default project will be loaded automatically, restoring all you settings.

There is now a frame counter at the top of the Camera view pane. The counter display can be toggled between SMPTE time code and frames by clicking the button to the right of the frame counter. (SMPTE is an acronym for The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers which created the time code standard.) With SMPTE time code, the current frame is displayed as hours:minutes:seconds:frames. The frame counter in the Timeline window will be displayed in the same format as selected for the Camera view. The Extras and Scripts palettes are now available as menus in the menu bar.
